Natural Bridge Caverns

A must-see when you’re in the area is the largest cave in Texas, Natural Bridge Caverns. Located just northeast of San Antonio, the cavern is 180 feet deep and contains a number of stunning formations including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, chandeliers and soda straws.

 

Touring the Fredericksburg Wineries

If you’re a wine lover, then you’ll definitely enjoy a trip to the Fredericksburg region. It’s home to a variety of breweries and distilleries where you can sample some delicious wine and learn about the area’s history. It is only 88 miles southwest of Stone Oak Ranch, so you’ll want to bring a designated driver, and enjoy!

 

Adventures in Marble Falls

Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend getaway or a quick day trip, Marble Falls has plenty to offer. This beautiful town just 35 miles west of Stone Oak Ranch is filled with historic buildings, a charming downtown area, and lots of outdoor activities to enjoy.

Hiking. There are several hiking trails near Marble Falls, including the Backbone Creek Hike and Bike Trail that twists between two of Marble Falls’ public parks. You can also head to the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, a popular hike and bike destination that is home to many different types of wildlife.

Fishing. Lake Marble Falls is a great place for fishing, with a variety of largemouth bass, sunfish, catfish, and white bass. The lake is accessible from shore or a boat, and offers lots of fishing spots for all types of anglers.

Sweet Berry Farm. Another local attraction is Sweet Berry Farm, a family-friendly berry farm where you can pick your own berries in the spring and summer. The farm also hosts a fall festival each year.
