It opened up a whole new world and opened to the public not long after.
The Annual Red Poppy Festival. You will not want to miss this if you’re in the area in late April! Affectionately known as ‘Popptoberfest,’ from April 22 – 24, it’s three days of Red Poppy Fun! Starting Friday, artisans begin to set up their wares as the delightful aroma of food vendors begin to waft through the air.
Then on Saturday, the event really kicks off with a Poppy Parade and Car Show. The kiddos can get crafty in the Fun Zone, athletes can lace up for a 5k run, and of course, music will be on tap throughout.
